Frequently Asked Questions

It's my very first facial, what should I expect?

Let us know your skin care goal. We will perform skin analysis and consultation before selecting the appropriate treatment and home care regiment for you. The end result is to give you the glowing, healthy skin.

How often should I get facials?

Professional skin care experts recommend getting a facial once every month as it takes 28 days for your skin to complete the skin cell turnover process. As one ages, this process slows down. Regular skin care treatments will help fight the dull, lifeless skin aging brings! If you do have problematic skin, you may need to do a course of treatments of once a week to treat the problem.

Can I get a facial while pregnant?

Yes, you may experience unexpected temporary skin condition such as pigmentation and minor break out during pregnancy due to hormonal changes. We will recommend suitable treatments for expecting and/or nursing mothers. Having your facial massage relaxes your body and mind.

Will my skin be red or irritated after my facial?

Slight redness is normal after a facial, especially if you've received a large amount of extractions. Slight irritation may be experienced during these instances, however it should not continue after your facial treatment has been completed. Certain skin types, including those who tend to be more sensitive, may be prone to experiencing more redness post treatment.

Can men get facials too?

Yes, facials are beneficial for men too, and can help reduce skin sensitivity from shaving as well as other concerns from lack of proper at home skincare. If you do suffer from sensitivity after shaving, it is recommended that you do not shave immediately before your facial, as this can lead to further irritation.
